Description
Posada Rock is the longest running metal festival in Romania.
The event takes place every year in Câmpulung Muscel, a city located at the base of the Carpathian Mountains, 2 hours drive from Bucharest.
Posada Rock’s first edition took place in 1986, under the communist regime, as a “battle of the bands” contest, which brought to Câmpulung the best bands in the underground, but also live shows from most important names in Romanian rock music.
Nowadays, Posada Rock is one of the Top 3 Romanian metal festivals, with an audience around 5.000 people each year and great international bands as headliners – Rage, Therapy?, Dirkschneider, Evergrey, Soen, Firewind, Ugly Kid Joe, Stratovarius, Dog Eat Dog, Royal Hunt, Tiamat, Moonspell, Entombed A.D., Diamond Head, Dark Tranquillity, Jinjer, Rotting Christ and many others.
